Why Some People Self Implode

After being around a lot of successful and failed entrepreneurs there are a few things I have learned about why some of them make it big and some can't seem to get it done. It almost always comes down to the operator and things the person can do differently to change the outcome of their circumstances. If you ever watch someone grow a business, you can see that their business is a reflection of who they are. Business will expose a person for good or bad. When someone implodes their business it is usually because they tend to do that in their own life. I do not know if this trait is a form of a cycle that the person just can't seem to break out of or if it was a learned habit from an early age. It is very hard to say where it comes from, but it is easy to spot. If you are having trouble seeing red flags in people that create these circumstances, you will want to look for a few things. Does the 'self imploder' seem to find trouble often? Do they tend to act emotional when making decisions that should be based on logic? Do they make decisions that head in the direction of trouble when they easily could have avoided a disaster? Some people thrive on the chaos and trouble they get themselves into and they are not aware of it. If you spot some of these things in the person you are working with or doing business with, you might want to have your guard up and be prepared for headaches.
