Self Discipline Is The Secret To Being Your Own Boss

Most people don't realize they actually have a boss when they are their own boss. That statement doesn't seem to make sense, but the person a business owner reports to is him/her self. We are raised in an education system to show up on time and work on deadlines because someone else tells us to. Once we enter the work world, for most, this is just a continuation of their experience with their schooling. If someone breaks the mold and decides to start their own business, they have to take their flawless attendance record and punctuality and carry it over into their own business. Being responsible to yourself is a lot more potent than reporting to someone else. The skill of being SELF disciplined day in and day out is crucial to running a business. Once you become good at this, you will find you can use it to accelerate your growth and beat your competition. Most of the time, your competition simply stops reporting to themselves and you can beat them just by showing up every day.
