90 Day Rule

Many people just starting in real estate investing tend to have a short life span in the business. It is not because they are not smart enough or capable of succeeding but rather because they don't give it enough time to work. I have done every kind of real estate investing under the sun over the years and found that no matter what type of transaction I am doing, the 90 day rule holds true in this industry. This means that whatever efforts I put forth today will end up showing the results 90 days from today. If I send out a marketing campaign today, I don't see the final results of those efforts for roughly 90 days. Because of this, I recommend that anyone in the business that is just starting, be sure to not allow yourself to become frustrated for at least 90 days. Don't give yourself a reason to quit and potentially pass up a huge life change of getting in this business.
