Focus On Strengths, Not Weaknesses

Have you ever thought of "If I improve in this particular weakness, I will be more well rounded." I am proposing that you throw that idea out the window in business. What you will find for successful investors is that they tend to be really really good at just one or two investment techniques. They figure out their strengths and then repeat them over and over. They don't waste time in trying to become better at a form of investing that they just weren't cut out for. The laser focus on the one or two strengths allows them to build their bank account and grow their operation. Instead of focusing on improving their weaknesses, they then just take the money they make from their strengths and hire people to fill in those gaps. Identifying what you are very good at and what you are not good at is vital to your success so you know how to get out of your own way. If you have specific skill sets that you excel at, push those and focus on them, don't risk time and money in trying to get good at things you are not meant to be doing.
