Door Knocking - Killer Marketing Method

This is an amazing lead generation method in real estate investing. It was hands down the most effective and productive method we ever saw in generating lead volume when we used to wholesale properties back in 2008. This is not for everyone and it does take some real coordination. We used to have a canvas team manager that would organize a group of 2-3 people every night from 5-8 PM during the summer. Each person would receive a map of the areas to be covered. We focused on city homes because they are close and can hit about 2x more than in the suburbs. Each person would have their door flyers and clipboards with a copy of the roads they had to cover. By the end of the night they would bring back the leads they received. We used to have boxes of leads and there were so many that we literally could not get to all of them. All marketing methods have merit but this one particularly had a very high return. The downside is that it takes a lot of energy , focus and time to coordinate. It is also difficult to find people that want to do this day in and day out as people are not usually cut out to go door to door.
