I’m About To Blow Your Mind With A Strategy That Will Seem CRAZY (Unti
Earlier this week I wrote a blog post about living first class and I got A LOT of feedback on it.
I talked about how you needed to step up to living life at a higher level than you probably are right now… from flying first class to investing in education and mentorship that you may have previously thought was too expensive.
Some people were ultra-motivated by it, others were a little confused. So I’m writing this follow-up post to give you even more value and education…
You see, it all boils down to 4 little words… “I can’t afford it.”
Those are words that people say a lot.
And all too often, those words are spoken by real estate investors who have big dreams of lucrative success. But every time they say “I can’t afford it” they are stepping BACKWARDS from their goal.
The reason is: Our thoughts become our reality so when someone says, “I can’t afford it,” they are establishing a mindset of scarcity. They’re basically saying: “here’s something that costs more money than I think I have available to me right now, and therefore it’s not something that I can have, so I will go without.”
But this mindset is total B.S.
The truth is: there is WAY more money out there than you realize, and you have access to it. There are TONS of opportunities out there and your potential to make a lot of money is nearly limitless. (And if you disagree with me on this then you have embedded a scarcity mindset into your brain so deeply that you may struggle breaking free of it).
By saying, “I can’t afford it,” you are allowing a limiting framework to be placed on your thinking.
Instead, blast through your limiting beliefs. Rather than thinking, “I can’t afford it,” think, “I will find a way to afford it.”
Thinking this way will change things…
You might have to get creative.
You might have to work hard.
You might have to share the wealth with someone else who can help you.
You might have to take risks.
You might have to turn off the TV and get your ass off the couch.
… but if you start challenging yourself to stop saying “I can’t afford it” you will automatically start challenging yourself to think bigger and to spot opportunities that you were once blind to before.
When you willingly spend more money than you think is sensible (according to your limiting beliefs) you automatically destroy your limiting beliefs and you push yourself to create more in your life.
Consider this example: If I asked you for a $100,000 for something, you might tell me that there’s no way you can afford it. But if I told you that I wanted $100,000 or you would die at midnight, do you think you’d be able to find that money? You probably would.
Of course that’s a jarring example but it shows how limiting beliefs work: we think we can’t afford something… but if the stakes are high enough, we’ll be able to.
Well, if you eradicate the words “I can’t afford that” from your vocabulary, and instead you start living a first class life, you’ll raise the stakes and push yourself to create a life that you’ll love living.
Want a simple place to start?
Next time you fly, fly first class.
Or next time you rent a car, rent a luxury car.
Or next time you want to invest in yourself and your investing business with some training and mentorship, pull the trigger instead of counting your pennies.
Get rid of “I can’t afford it” and you will expand your mind and your life.
I want you to start living a first class life.
