Colorado Springs Receiving National Kudos
In the last couple of months, the Colorado Springs real estate market has received plaudits from several national publications.
Realtor Magazine listed the top 20 real estate markets and the Springs came in at #16. They noted that we got that ranking by combining high demand with quick sales of local homes.

Forbes Magazine recently picked Colorado Springs as the 12th best city in the country for business and careers. We are appreciated for our quality of life, low cost of doing business and our workforce.

Money Magazine recently featured the top city in six different parts of the country. Colorado Springs was voted the Best City in the Mountains. They noted our employment has increased the fastest it has since 2000, not only outpacing the national average, but all of Colorado as well. Because of our strong military presence in the economy, it’s no surprise that we are booming in aerospace and cybersecurity.
They concluded, “Low crime, good schools, easy commutes, health care options, and increasing but still affordable home prices have earned Colorado Springs the top ease-of-living rank among our Best Cities.”

And in a category that surprised me, Southeast Colorado Springs zip code 80916 was listed as the fourth hottest zip code for millennials in the entire country. I would have guessed an area closer to downtown or the westside for the spot millennials would pick, but it’s undeniable that that part of town has the most affordable houses.

All this is good news for property owners in the Springs. Lots of folks from around the country are moving here for our lifestyle and amenities, driving up home prices and rents.
