A Thankful Realtor Thanks All Of You

Not just on Thanksgiving, but every day I am thankful for being a Realtor®. You see, for many years I worked for someone else, often underappreciated and certainly not in control of my destiny. Now I'm more career happy. Being a Realtor, though, doesn't mean that it's always a world of make your own hours, work when you feel like it, making tons of money. I work every single day as opposed to 5 days/40 hours a week, around my clients' busy schedules and sometimes the cash flow just doesn't work the way I want, but I wouldn't have it any other way --- I love it!

I love the people I work with. I have always been interested in real estate, from the many properties that I personally have owned here in Pittsburgh, PA, to all of the people I have helped buy residential, investment and commercial properties throughout the years. Each day is something different that helps me learn and grow as a professional in the industry. I meet a lot of diverse people from all over the world with varied interests and I believe that has transformed me into a more well-rounded person in general. Helping people fulfill their dreams is important to me and guiding them through the real estate process is rewarding. Just as I have guided my clients, so have the people, whom I have worked with, guided me. The Realtors/Brokers I work with have assisted in my development, exposing me to some of the most unique scenarios in the industry.

I recently switched brokerages to Realty ONE Group Gold Standard in Wexford, who has 3 local offices. At this time in my life, I wanted to give back by becoming a Sales Manager mentoring other agents in addition to recruiting new agents for our brokerage and continuing my strong success as a Realtor. In this short period of time, these people have become family to me. This company has been nationally recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the US. This has been accomplished by the amazing Realtors, Brokers and staff who work cohesively for the benefit of our clients. I am truly thankful to be a part of this success.

And most importantly, I am so very happy to have worked with some of the best clients ever. My real estate road was first designed to hold residential traffic, but then I branched out into the commercial and investment highway. Many thanks to my Marketing Director, Rick, who has helped me meet a lot of investors whose interests vary from "Buy and Hold" to "House Hacking" to "Flipping" Single and Multi-family properties. I have had great success working with investors along with my residential and commercial Buyers/Sellers. I thank them for being a part of my life and enlisting me to help them build their REI portfolios.

The lives of my clients have been impacted by so many people, as it takes a team to ensure the success of every transaction. I am so thankful for meeting and working with all of them from loan officers, to title folks and appraisers to plumbers, contractors, home inspectors and more. Just as "It takes a village to raise a child" also "It takes a team to close a real estate transaction". And because of all of the opportunities we have completed together, I am proud and thankful to have a team of dedicated professionals to call upon when I need them.

And finally, I have to say how thankful and proud I am of my home town of Pittsburgh, PA. Our City seeks initiatives and encourages economic growth that have really attracted those wanting to live in and/or invest here in Pittsburgh. We certainly are #pittsburghstrong.

Not everything has been smooth sailing in this venture, but every single day I am thankful for working with the most amazing people not only as a Realtor, but as a person, I am thankful and grateful to my friends, family, colleagues, clients and all those who help others make the world a better place.

Happy Thanksgiving!
