Taking Time Off

February 2016, already? It's unbelievable how quickly time passes, and with the passing of time come changes. Circumstances change, environments change, people change.

In my case, it's been a tough beginning to the year, financially. I am in the midst of a career change and I've decided that the best thing to do would be to take time off from REI and focus on my new career. As much as I enjoy being as part of the real estate community, I reckon it's best to put it off for a while until I can get back on my feet. In the meantime I will continue to learn as much as I can about the real estate markets and I'll check back once in a while!

See you soon, BP!

  1. Thanks for the update, Merlina. Sorry to see you have to put it on pause before you got a chance to do a deal. However, it sounds like you need to focus on your immediate situation and that makes perfect sense. Let me encourage you with these two suggestions...

    1. Don't ever stop learning. Maintain a passion for learning about investing!

    2. Get back into investing as soon as you can. You don't have to jump in with both feet yet (why not make some extra money by just partnering with another investor for now?)

All the best, Merlina. Hope to see you back here soon!
