Not Much Sleep But Got A Lot Done
So after 2 days of no sleep, driving back and forth to site for 24 hour coverage, I decided to move to the vessel so I can actually sleep between welds. I'm working on a spool vessel and they are spooling both reels. The welds are coming staggered so sometimes there's an hour between welds, sometimes 3. And with the weather being so crap, they can be down for lightning. So the only way I was going to get any rest was to move. I can walk off the ship 15 minutes before the weld is ready and sleep a couple/few hours between welds. Lightning in the area gave me a full night's sleep last night, so I am finally in a mood to update this blog. I also got some things done with real estate. Most importantly was finishing up my real estate course. I still need to take the final test, but I got all my hours and quizzes out of the way.
The tech that I have been talking to about real estate has an uncle in Houston that owns a community bank. He want to give me his contact information. It is all about relationships. Things are chugging along.
Here on some pictures of my worksite, the vessel and what we are doing. Not many people outside of the Oil and Gas Industry get what I do.
