A Mindless, But Good Weekend

I spent all day Friday working on my real estate course. I read and filled out about a dozen contracts, so after my postcards and stamps arrived, I decided to spend all day Saturday lounging, watching TV shows and movies and addressing and stamping postcards.

Aside from three trips out of my hotel room to get food and run errands, I worked all day on the postcards. I finished the last one early evening and called it a day as far as real estate was concerned.

The finished cards

These will go out sometime today.

Oh! And small world. I went out to have a drink and to watch the Texans' game yesterday with a couple of the guys going offshore with me and lo and behold, the technician who met me out is a BiggerPocket's member and owns 5 buy and holds here in Mobile, AL. We talked real estate for about an hour and my plan is to pick his brain when we get offshore. Yesterday was a good day. The Texans' won, are now in first place in their division, and I did some real estate even though I had no plans to.
