It Really Doesn't Need to Cost a Lot

Being a previous business owner, I have gone the expensive route in starting my wholesaling and real estate investing career. I did it this way because I want to have things in place so I'm not playing catch-up later. Thinking about all the money I have spent since I started this blog, I could have just as easily started with very little money, I'm going to run down the list of what I have spent and what was actually necessary to start wholesaling. The below is assuming you have things like a car.

dba under my LLC - $100.00 (not necessary)
LLC (original cost back in 2012) - $500.00 (not necessary)
5000 postcards - $225.00 (not necessary, but hopefully helpful)
business cards - $60.00 (not necessary)
website - $50.00 a month (not necessary)
Domain - $20.00 (not necessary)
2000 stamps - $700.00 (not necessary) need to have some stamps to mail, but 2000 is excessive.
2000 labels for postcards - $60.00 (not necessary)
50 envelopes - $10.00 (need)
Ream of paper - $15.00 (need)
Gas driving for dollars - $30.00 (need)
Pen - $2.00 (need)
Notebook - $2.00 (need)

I have spent around $1300.00 so far and I haven't sent out my first round of mailers. I have, however, sent out 20 absentee owner letters which only cost me gas, paper, pen, notebook, envelope and stamp cost. So anyone who has a car, gas money and some basic office supplies can get started for under $100.00.

Built my list of questions in case someone calls.
Downloaded some forms in case I needed to get a house under contract.
