Another week in the life of a landlord...

How long do you wait for an appointment before giving up?  I had a meeting with a tenant after work, a no show.  I gave them 20 minutes.

How much do you scurry to get a copy of the rental agreement to a tenant so she can register her kid for kindergarten?  Evidently a lot, because Bruce's excuse for everything not done was that errand...

What do you do when your little real estate group doesn't have a speaker for a monthly meeting?  Bruce BP forum posts to discuss!  We talked about renovating with tenants in the unit (a big thumbs down), our philosophy on raising rent (many don't on existing tenants at all), holiday gifts for tenants (bitter about not getting thank you's), and several other topics.  It was lively, I enjoyed it more than our speakers.
