How to Keep Lovely Finishes in Your 30A Luxury Home

How to Keep Lovely Finishes in Your 30A Luxury Home

To maintain the value and appeal of your 30A luxury home for sale, make sure to keep its finishes well maintained. This isn’t that easy as it requires time and diligence.

Find out the secrets in making the finishes of your luxury home for sale along 30A more appealing.

But worry no more. We’ve listed the most common finishes used by luxury homes, together with the best material and techniques to use to keep them in top shape. Check out our comprehensive list below:

Glass

We all know that there are a number of hot new 30A luxury homes which use glass doors and walls for bathrooms or in the living room. It is versatile and easy to clean since it is non-porous. A home with lovely glass finish often looks elegant, but the same is not the case when the glass turns dirty and ugly with etching.

Cleaning glass can be a breeze when you use white vinegar. Spray it on your bathroom doors and walls to get rid of accumulated soap residue. It leaves the surface shiny and non-greasy.

Mirofiber cloths best work with vinegar to clean glass. You may also try using non-scratching sponges or soft cotton. Just remember to never use anything that could scratch glass surfaces to maintain its smoothness and shine.

Granite

How often have you seen homes along 30A on http://www.30ALuxuryHomes.com with fine granite countertops either in the kitchen or in the bathroom? Almost always, I bet! That’s because granite is a favourite material for luxury houses due to its elegance, design factor, and durability. It can resist heat and scratches. Plus it comes in lovely colors to go with any interior.

To clean granite, it is best to stay away from strong products which have high acidity. This includes vinegar, lemon and cleaners with high pH level. A natural option can be a mixture of alcohol, dish soap and a few drops of essential oils. You may also aim for cleaners with neutral pH like castile soap. Just like glass, granite will keep its shine and flawless surface if you use smooth tools to clean it like microfiber cloth or soft sponge.

Hardwood

Most luxury homes boast of hardwood floors which would surely take your breath away as soon as you enter. It is a durable material which looks amazing anywhere you put it. But maintaining it can be tough. It can easily get scratched and damaged with water, debris, and spills.

Always make your 30A luxury home for sale appealing by keeping its finishes well maintained.

To maintain hardwood floors from getting damaged due to moisture and other harmful materials, use homemade solutions like hot water and vinegar or a bit of dish liquid. Some also swear by cleaning properties of olive oil which can leave wood with a glossy shine finish. Apply cleaning products using cloth or mops. But do this after you’ve used vacuum or a soft bristled broom.

Start paying attention to maintaining the lovely finishes of your 30A luxury home. Try to keep it lovely, if not lovelier than when you first found it so you can be sure of a high resale value in the future.
