It's a Company!

I feel like my brand new baby company has just been 'born.'  Have articles filed with the great state of Oklahoma, EIN from the IRS, new bank account, new phone numbers... it's all starting to sound official.

I complied with the contract and sent the seller all mortgage docs in advance and they seem to be ok with everything, their only question so far is when do we close?  I'll push for the HUD-1 on Monday to make sure there are no errors, figure out how they're going to credit deposits and the balance of rents and awwaayyy we go.

Can you tell I'm psyched?

  1. Dawn - thanks so much It's so nice to share some of these experiences.

  2. Congrats! I've been reading about your progress and it's exciting! I just started an LLC with someone and did the same -- filing, articles of organization, EIN, and getting to the bank account stage. You sound like a great investor!
