Relocating to Potter County Texas

Within Potter County Texas you will find the major cities of Amarillo, Bushland and Bishop Hills.  Each city is surrounded by interstates and highways that make getting around your daily commute quick and easy.

When it comes to relocating, education is always important, and you will find top quality schools in Potter County.  The Amarillo Independent School District is the largest school system in the county followed by Bushland Independent School District, Highland Park Independent School District, and River Road Independent School District.  And, for those who prefer private education, there are several private schools to choose from in the area.  Amarillo College and West Texas A&M University are both located in Potter County.

Recreation is usually another big factor when it comes to relocating.  Therefore, Potter County has you covered with several large recreation areas like Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument and the Sanford Recreation Area. You will also find many lakes, creeks and reservoirs that are open to the public.  And, for those who like indoor activities, there is an array of museums and shops to visit.
