Appropriate response time from syndicators.

Posted

New syndication investor here. I have been reaching out and evaluating a few different sponsors. Most sponsors returned my initial message/email within a couple of days. One sponsor has not responded at all. And one other, and what brings me here, is hit and miss.

I emailed this company, and the initial response only took 1 day to respond. However, the follow up questions I have had are yet to be answered. It has been 8 days since my follow up question. I even considered maybe that wasn't the best email to communicate with them through, so I sent a message via their website that states are for any questions. Furthermore, I noticed that any initial email I sent out to a sponsor was responded with them encouraging me to set up a time to discuss the business with them. The company in question did not, and more so, gave a sense of urgency for me to pledge my interest in the deal as its first come first serve.

I've heard reliable reviews on this company and was optimistic I would be able to trust them. I'm sure the company is fine and want to give them the benefit of the doubt. But, in general, what is an appropriate response time, and are there any red flags here?  TIA!
