Trust naming convention for insurance

Ryan Bird
Posted

Have a question on adding trust as the named insured. My rental got deeded to a trust and the title owner is now ”ryan as trustee of abc trust”. I called insurance to make update but now in the named insurance schedule, it just says ”abc trust”. Is this standard practise to omit the trustees? Or should it mention the entire thing (Ryan as trustee of abc trust) in the named insured? Anyone with a trust name on insurance can throw some light on this, please?
