Landlord Insurance for Home in LLC

Me, my dad, and brother formed an LLC earlier this year specifically for real estate investing. We are closing on a home EOY and need insurance. I'm running into the issue that insurance companies don't like to quote for an LLC, but rather, for individuals. I've been told I can add the home to my personal policy and list the LLC as an additional insured. But am hesitant to do that since the whole point of having the LLC is to protect our personal finances from liability. Any tips here?
