House Hack Duplex Insurance

Currently under contract on my first house hack/duplex. Financed with an FHA loan so planning to stay at least 1 year. What is the recommenced way to structure insurance on the property that is a primary residence and also investment property.

Is a homeowners policy for both sides/whole dwelling the best way to go? USAA is who I’ve always used and that’s what they recommended today but wanted to check.
