Commercial Insurance Policy

Been reading BP for years and a few months ago I came across a post about commercial insurance policies and what some members were paying as well as links to those specific companies. I can't for the life of me find that post.

So long story short I have five properties now and close on my sixth in a few weeks. I am currently with Nationwide and although I have been happy with them, I am being told that I will have to move to a commercial policy to insure the sixth. Wasn't a big deal till I saw the quote. For the sake of argument lets say I pay on average $700 per year per house. The new quote was going to double my premiums.

Now from what I remember reading a few months back is alot of members were seeing a decrease when they went commercial. So any of you that have been in the same situation, can you please share who you are with? And what you saw for an increase/decrease when you had to switch to a commercial policy?

(Just saw I posted this in the wrong forum and not sure how to move it)

Thanks,

William, GA
