Recommend Public adjuster seattle area

Hello BiggerPockets community,

First of all, I am very thankful for this community and the wealth of knowledge I receive here.

Today, I need your help. I am dealing with an insurance claim. The insurance adjuster is coming back with $5000 as his estimates where contractors estimates are in the range of $40-50K.

I have started talking to the agent who got me this insurance and see if they can help negotiate a better $ amount.

But I would love to hear from your other ideas on how to deal with this. Also, a couple of questions.

1. Can anyone recommend any public adjusters in seattle area that you have experience with.

2. Has anyone used the Washington state's Office of the Insurance Commissioner? Looks like you can complaint with them but has it been useful or just waste of time?

Thank you for your help. Appreciate it.

Ana
