Flood insurance in Louisiana pro and cons

Looking to discuss with other investors in south Louisiana who can point me in the right direction to find out about more about flood insurance .

@Lonnie Ellerbee, in addition to the traditional FEMA flood policies, Private Flood insurance is available in limited areas of Louisiana and greater restrictions. Still, if your property qualifies, it is a great alternative. I had 2 properties with Private Flood coverage in 2016 and it was a blessing. Customer service was excellent and I didn't have to beg for money. You may have to search for a agent who will write it. @Robert Leonard once told me he goes directly to
