Landlord Insurance in Florida: Need Help!
I just got informed by my Agent that because the amount of claims and fraud in Florida many insurance companies left the state.
There are only a few and those do not go over 100,000 in liability. For this reason I am forced to take an additional coverage that cost me about $400 dollars only for a $500,000 liability.
So with the landlord insurance $650 that's $1,050 in total insurance.
In a previous post few people posted similar coverage but with a 1 million in liability and they only pay between $550-$650.
Are we Floridian the exception?
Do we have alternatives?
Is this just a fact we have to deal with?
Anyone in Florida with better results?
Looking forward to hear your comments.
