Title Company Dodging Communications After Botching Title Search

Hey all,

So we recently purchased a property with title insurance and did a title search prior to sale. Title Company came back and said the title was clear and all was good. We went ahead with the purchase and couple of weeks later found out that there were multiple people on the title. The newfound sellers clouded the title so now we're stuck doing nothing with the property.

Ever since we contacted the title company to file a claim, they've been dodging our calls and coming up with a lot of very convenient excuses, such as "the title attorney is on lunch," "our systems are down," etc.

It's been almost two months since we bought the property and have no real word from the title company on what's going to happen.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
