Umbrella insurance policy quote
Hello all,
First off let me ask if you think I should have an umbrella policy...I currently own 2 rental properties as well as my primary residence, a total of 3 properties. I would estimate they have a total worth of around 1.5 mil. I currently have the standard insurance which I believe is capped at 500k for each property, should I have an umbrella policy.
My insurance company quoted me $325 a year for a $1,000,000 policy...is this an average price ?
Any recommendations of other insurance companies to call is appreciated!
Thanks!
Rich
