Home insurance - rental property coverage

Hi all,

when I tried to get a quote online from Geico, Farmers, State farm, Progressive,

all of them say that if I choose it to be rental property, they will not be able to give me a quote online and an agent will call me. (then no one calls).

I am looking for an insurance coverage for an upcoming purchase in Connecticut.

Did you encounter issues like this? Are insurance companies avoiding providing rental property insurances?

Thanks!

J
