Rental Townhouse Insurance in Texas

Hello all,

I've owned a townhouse (one of three attached) in North Texas for several years, the homeowners insurance is paid from my monthly HOA fees for the subdivision.

As an occupant i had what I believe was the equivalent of renters insurance with Travelers.  Once I moved out I called Travelers and they set me up with a 'Homeowners Condo Policy' including 'Unit-Owners Rental'.

This has been in place for several years (though it has close to trebled in cost over time) but this year I've received a non-renewal notice stating:

'We are nonrenewing your policy.  The dwelling does not meet our minimum underwiting requirements as it is no longer owner occupied'

What actual insurance policy do I need to cover myself here as a landlord, given the regular Homeowners coverage is done thru the HOA?

I've read about Landlord Policys, but am not sure how those would work in my particular use case.

Many thanks in advance to any Texan Insurance experts who can advice!
