Insurance estimates resources request
Hello everyone, looking to buy my first househack down here in South Florida with a VA loan.
My goal is to do it before the end of this year and to get around $200 a month.
Im sitting on modest amount of cash (about 14k for anything needed) and will have around 4.5k-5k coming in monthly each month starting August. Credit is 800. No debt.
One of the hurdles I am facing right now is estimating the amount of insurance (Which to my understanding is the big expense in SoFlo). I want to practice a lot and master this subject. I am overcoming this by doing my reading and going in the forums but I wanted to ask if there is any resources that you guys already use for this that I could use as a newbie.
Thank you for reading and for the help.

I'd find an insurance broker (or two) in your area and shop rates on houses you're interested in. As in, literally look on Zillow, find a house that is in the general location, price point, size, age and call to get quotes. :)
