Rental Property Insurance
Does anyone know of reasonable rental property insurance companies for south Louisiana? Since the last hurricanes, the insurance on my rentals has almost tripled which basically eliminated any cash flow on my properties. We have raised rents to combat this however the comparable rents in the area have not risen at all so we have not been able to raise rents enough to cover insurance. Seems that any rental south of I-10 is extremely hard to cash flow with at these insurance rates.
