Insurance cancelation on second home
Hello! My first post! I am doing a remodel on a second home that is paid off. Insurance however, informed me that they are cancelling the insurance because of exterior paint peeling and some damage to the bottom of the walls from water. The water issue is fixed but they informed me during the winter when it’s not ideal to paint.
Any advice on what to tell them/ask them or should carriers be switched?
I do have a painter scheduled but again it barely gets over 50 in the winter months and he strongly advised me to wait.
Thank you!
