Insurance Claim (State Farm)

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with their insurance company not covering domestic animal damage (not pets but dogs that found their way in) and cleanup of toxic drug fumes?

My insurance provider is not willing to cover certain things and I'd like to understand if anyone has experience making a claim anyway and whether it's worth the legal fees.
