Cancelled By Insurance Company

I recently received notification from Citizens that they would not be renewing my policy on a townhome I own. According to their letter the roof "has less than 3 years of remaining useful life, and no documentation supporting roof replacement or showing 3 or more years of remaining useful life has been received." Has anyone received something similar recently? I've read that this has been happening rather frequently this year. Fortunately the roof is in good condition and I have never had a claim through many storms (fingers crossed). If you've received, what have you done?

Had this for a garage in disrepair. Like a good real estate agent a good insurance agent is worth their weight in gold. My agent called me right away pushed back on the insurance company and we were given a few months to fix the issues they saw. We did, sent in pictures and got insurance reinstated. I would contact your agent first if no solution get in touch with the insurance company. send pictures of the roof and show them it is in good condition and see if that would be good enough, if not see if they would agree to a roofing contractor inspecting it and doing the recommendations they suggest.
