IS THIS NORMAL WHEN LOOKING FOR RAW LAND TO FLIP?

Crystal Mendoza

Hello Everyone! I am new to BiggerPockets and looking to flip land. I'd say I've checked at least 200 cities/counties from at least 3 states (flyover states and Colorado) on Bestplaces.net (employment growth, pop, crime etc) However, when I go to search land that is being sold in the counties and or cities on Zillow, I'm not finding any properties currently being sold within that county. Does this seem normal? I'm thinking I have to either research more cities and counties on bestplaces.net or reverse engineer what cities and counties to search through Zillow?

There are 2 other sources to find land that I know of. And compared to zillow it is crazy how different they are. I find that the only pieces of land on zillow are higher priced usually development pieces of land. So in my opinion it is not the best place to find land.
