Working with an Agent who Doesn't get it

I have a quick question. I have started wholesaling to begin my REI journey. I have an agent who said they have a "partner" but would be willing to work with me. They have constantly sent me properties already under contract and/ or properties for me to personally buy talking about "it's gonna go quick- hot market!" What do I do?

Backstory- I've not done my first deal yet, I was still learning when I nearly had a property under contract, but at the time wasn't sure how to handle that. Owner really wanted to get rid of home and so found an agent and gave them my details (agent above). I was under the impression it was listed but after speaking to the agent, I learned it wasn't (still isn't over a month later). I told them I am not buying but would be interested in future deals.
