Wholesaling in Dallas Texas

Hey BP, I'm 20yrs old, and brand new to REI! The idea of Wholesaling really intrigues me as a great way to get my foot in the door learning how to find and convert leads without needing to manage rehabs or come up with lots of cash. I've seen so much conflicting info on whether or not wholesaling is legal in TX and whether I'd need to get licensed. Can any local TX folks shed some light on this? And also if you have any advice on wholesaling in general, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks
