JV - What to know & How to vet someone

Posted

Hello!

I am new to wholesaling and have made my presence (somewhat) on here and some Facebook groups. I received a couple of people talking about JV. I wanted to know the following below:

  • What are some of the best questions to ask someone trying to JV with me?
What should I look out for?
  • How can you protect myself aka not get messed over when doing a JV?
  • Has anyone ever JV with someone on a Facebook group (somewhat you didn't know)? If so, how did you handle it?
  • What is the process? Do I only find the buyer and the other person finds the seller? Or is it the other way around?
  • Do the check get cut 50-50?

Thanks you!!!
