Wholesaling in country area

Chelsea Douglas
Posted

I know typically investors look at properties in a more retail market. I don’t want to be the wholesaler who obtains a property and has to go back on my word with the seller because I didn’t have the ability to find a buyer due to location. I was looking for clarification on if country areas are okay to wholesale in and where I should be potentially looking for buyers.

I would see if any of these towns that you are marketing in have local REI meetups. Thats the quickest way to meet people who are buying. Some investors make a living off of those country deals, but they are fewer and further between. Try to find a few buyers you really like and send them deals before you lock it up to get a firm buy price.. then you can go back to the seller and feel confident in your numbers.

Relationships are the name of the game. If you got any more questions you can feel free to reach out to me, im in Raleigh NC.
