Getting into Real Estate Investment
Hello BPs
I want to introduce myself, My name is Gulfraz, I am 28, self-employed and I am from Pakistan, currently live in Baltimore, MD. I have been studying real estate investment for the past year or so and came across Brandon Turner on youtube about BRRRR strategies and found BP Podcast which been great help its like free college thanks to Joshua Dorkin. I have listened to the first 100 episodes (will continue) and a few new ones as well. I have learned so much from them and now I finally decided to get myself into REI. I will start with wholesaling which is a good fit for me as it has less start-up cost and later I will do Flips and down the line have some rental properties as well for passive income. I have sent out mail with yellowletters.com and hopefully, everything works out. If you need boats on the ground guy you can reach me this way I will get learn and get to help others as well. I will keep you guys updated once I get my first deal could be days months or years I will be on it until I get it done.
Now the reason I can't buy properties for flips or rental because as a Muslim I can't get myself involved with the interest of any kind, so I am restricted in that manner. From what I know i can do 2 things;
1. I can pay a premium like if you lend me $100k and I will give you back the fixed amount of $105k or whatever decided.
2. I can pay you certain percentage of equity in the property you invest.
I have talked to few lenders and they said they can't do that, Are there any other ways that I don't know and if you lender how would you lend without interest?
As a newbie, you can throw me around if I missed something I don't mind.
Feedback will be appreciated!
Thank You.
