Is certification worth it - to prove you're serious?

I guess the questions is self explanatory! :) Do you all think it's worth it to get some type of certification to prove that you are serious about a real estate career? Does this make people more comfortable working with you, as a wholesaler, if you have some type of certification?

Personally in the real estate investing world people could give a hoot. You could have a doctorate in finance and I don't think it would have very much affect on your lead attraction to wholesale deals.

In the world of agency, yes, maybe, having more credentials helps. But in the land of wholesaling/investing people take you seriously because you can, seriously bring them good deals :)
