Can Buyers pay my wholesaling fee OUTSIDE of escrow?
Found an off-market triplex deal through mailers.
Now some family members want to buy it (parents).
Is it ok to have them pay me the 10k outside of escrow? Any issues (tax or otherwise) with doing this?

If it were my parents I’d ask for 10k cash and assign it over if they wanted the deal and 10k was what they felt was fair. If it were anyone else. When I say anyone - I mean ANYONE else, write it up on paper and have it go through escrow (or attorney in certain states) company
