Wholesaling follow up phone call

So I believe I have found a great possible lead for my first wholesaling deal, and I’ve sent an email to the property owner to see if they were interested in selling. Given that I also have their phone number, should I also give them a call? If so, how long should I wait for them to respond to the email? Also, say they answer the call, how should I go about the conversation?

- According to my research the owner doesn’t live at this location and lives at highly expensive property in another city... stating that just in case that detail holds any significance to the conversation topic.

Thank you!

Real Estate is a CONTACT sport. Just like in basketball or football the game is all about speed, efficiency, and execution (value provided.) When wholesaling or in other sales roles you are looking to get a Yes or No as quickly as possible. The worst think to get is a Maybe that clogs your pipeline, if you get to many.

Call your potential lead, if they don’t answer the phone leave a voicemail and send a txt. Follow up with this lead until they disqualify themselves as a lead, ask not to be contacted, or they give you a commitment to begin the next step in your sales process. Good luck and happy closing! 😃
