Wholesalers: Where do you find inventory?

Have a friend interested in wholesaling. I have not done it, so I am not sure about first steps. Particularly for online research, what platforms are the best for finding inventory? Do you use the big retail platforms (Zillow, Redfin, Trulia, Realtor.com)?
