Website for buyer, website for seller, how many email addresses?

Posted

I am in the buildup phase of my wholesaling company. I want to register a domain, and register an email with that domain. I have a company name for my business but will have two different domain names with one having content targeted towards the sellers, and one targeted with content for the buyers.

My question is if you have a subscription box on you site where sellers can enter their property info, and one for your buyers page where buyers can register to be emailed for your deals...what is your email that you respond back to them with?

1) Do you do two email accounts? For example

JohnD@xyzrei --> Buyer site email for xyzrei.com     &  JohnD@xyzbuyshomes ---> Seller site email for xyzbuyshomes.com

2) Or one email account for two sites?

JohnD@xyzbuyshome ----> Email you use to respond to buyers & sellers?

I think this is important to know because it determines what you put on your business cards among other things with importance. I just want to move from this stage and would like to hear how other do it?

DO NOT get 1 website for both seller and buyer side. That is ludicrous. do not do that!

You treat your buyer and seller side as 2 separate businesses. You do not mix them in.

If you promise to buy someones house in cash on your site, and then in the next tab you talk about how you sell properties for 10 cents on the dollar, how in Jerryll's name does that make any sense. You have ZERO credibility.

Yes you get 2 different accounts, for websites.

If you want you can use the sellers site email to communicate with your buyers. It COULD have some advantages if you are someone with a HUGE reputation for getting motivated seller leads.

For us , as an example, we get a ton of buyers ask us to be put on their list from our SELLER site. They know we get a ton of leads and they want to be on our list. Buyers are investors, they are savvy when it comes to REI, there is no need to be careful there.

Sellers... no. You have to be careful with sellers.

Sorry that this will sound bad... but you don't put on your site that you will wholesale their house. YES we DO tell them, but  face to face. Why? because this gives us a chance to explain wholesaling to them.

Thanks to most of the people doing wholesaling, wholesaling has gotten a very bad reputation. So we want to explain IN PERSON how real wholesaling is done, so there is no chance of them assuming we are one of the crappy ones.

We explain what wholesaling is and then we give them an option. They can get a wholesale offer, or they can get a flip offer. 8 to 9 out of 10 times they want us to wholesale their house.

Just don't talk about wholesaling on your site because they will have the wrong idea what wholesaling really is and how it benefits them.
