Need title company in Texas to handle assignment contracts

I am working on wholesaling property in San Antonio Texas. I need to know if anyone has a name of title company in the area that can handle assignment contracts. I have heard both extremes, either it is illegal in Texas are that title companies don't like to do "assignment contract" closings.

Ok, Terry, let's back up just a little.

1) are you using the standard TREC contract to lock up your properties?
2) do you have "and/or Assigns" after your name as buyer?
3) do you have "This contract shall be assignable" or some such in the special provisions? (not necessary, but my attorney says redundancy never hurts)
4) do you use an Assignment form stating that you're selling your interest in the contract to another?

If so, Houston is no different than Dallas, you are doing nothing illegal.

Please break it down for me what you're trying to do that Title disallows. Lets start with locking up the property with your Purchase and Sale agreement and go all the way to NOOOOOOO you cant do that. My guess is we're not on the same page at some point. Are you working with individual sellers? You're not trying to assign REO property are you?
