Is it possible to Wholesale a lot?

While driving from work I passed by a lot with a run down farage on it that had a sign that read “lot for sale by owner”. Should I seek interest in this lot or is it different because it’s a “lot”? I’m a new investor hungry for his first deal so I’ll take anything haha
