Wholesale In Memphis TN

Hey Everyone,

My name is Jasmine Crosby and I am a resident here in Memphis, TN (born and raised). I have recently started researching and attending forums and workshops in regards to wholesale real estate for the last 4 months. Although i have encountered great information and i have also worked temporarily as a lead generator helping out a guy whom was also into wholesale by calling potential sellers and obtaining information about their properties and assisting him in getting them under contract - Although that was a great experience I thought it is time for me to branch off and really get into it on my own. I am hoping to obtain my real estate license within the end of the summer but wanted to jump in real estate investment by whole sale. What are some places to go here in Memphis to network with some people and really develop a relationship where i can experience the ins and outs? 

I am hoping to long term get to a point where I purchase properties and rehab them as i love interior/ exterior design. 

Literally every apartment i have lived in i have painted, created vibrant patterns on the walls, and decorated with different colors and textures. I have watched HGTV since I was 10 and i am now in my mid twenties :). 

Any advice would greatly be appreciated as I take on this new journey.
