Sifting Through Probate Files

Account Closed
Posted

Hi. I'm getting into wholesaling so my first plan of attack was to go to my target county's courthouse here in Illinois.

I want to collect as many lists as i can including the probate list,, tax delinquent list, code violations, vacants, and divorces.

I was able to get access to all foreclosures/notices of foreclosures, and the probate FILES. Not a list.

I was wondering if having to go through hundreds of probate files to pull the names and information one by one, or do most county's provide an actual list?

Either way, Ive found a database that has this done already. But they charge several hundred dollars for each list, for each county.

http://www.public-record.com/ Is their site. Is using something like this what most people do?

Appreciate any feedback.

Thanks.
