While I'm getting my realtor's license can I still continue to wholesale property in Texas ?

@Gary Williams, I wouldn't. There probably isn't specific law prohibiting it. However, I do think being an agent creates a nexus to doing wholesaling.

First off your broker isn't going to make any money from your wholesaling. So, they would have heartache with it I think. Also, I have heard of brokers firing agents who wholesale because they are concerned about the negative stigma associated with it.

From a practical standpoint, most sellers are probably better off listing with an agent than wholesaling. So, someone might accuse you of being dishonest trying to convince a seller to wholesale the house through you. Any perceived dishonesty could come back to affect your real estate license.

Wholesaling and being a realtor are both jobs. Perhaps get involved in real estate investing. Investing goes well with either of those jobs.
