Switching Markets and Need Advice - Atlanta, GA

Okay... so I've been looking for investor friendly title companies in ATL and I learned that Georgia uses attorneys for closings instead of title companies. So my question is who handles clearance/research of title and escrow before closing the deal? This is so different than what I'm used to. Can anyone clarify the process, please?
